The Fourth Phase of Water, Beyond Solid, Liquid, and Vapor brought home the “Distinguished” award from the Puget Sound Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication. This is their top tier award.

The criteria for judging are based not only on content but also on how the information in the book is presented — the layout, flow of text, illustrations, etc. We spent many long hours nit-picking these details, especially by Ethan Pollack, the artist. Getting that recognition feels good.
